What Is Acupuncture? Acupuncture is a system of healing that has been practised in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years. Acupuncture is a form of medicine and is not a therapy. Although often used for pain relief, it is infact used to treat a wide range of illnesses.
How does Acupuncture work?
According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health is dependant on the Body’s motivating energy Known as qi. Qi moves through the body by ways of the maridian system. There are Acupuncture points all over the body. Healing is achieved by the insertion of very fine needles at specific points along the path.
How often will you need treatment?
This is dependant on the severity of your condition, treatments usually follow weekly, unless symptoms or pain require more intensive healing, the treatment is then moved to once very two weeks. Eventually a seasonal tune up is all that is required.
Cost of Treatment?
Traditional diagnosis £50.00, including first treatment.
Please allow 2-3 hours. 1 hr Treatment £36.
I will be very happy to answer any questions you may have about your condition and how acupuncture may help you. Acupuncture is a complete medicine and works holistically, enabling a person to function to their fullest potential in both mind body and spirit.
