Quiet space is becoming quite rare to find which is why this venue with gentle music is provided.

We all need time in our lives when we are “away from”. By granting yourself the gift of an hour you can let the world stop while you gather yourself together.

You will not be asked to “empty your mind of all thoughts” although you can certainly do this if you wish. You will be guided at first to focus on your breathing which enables the mind to become more still. Then you will practise moving your thoughts to different parts of the body which increases awareness of where your mind and your consciousness is.

After a time on your own, a guided meditation will be given. This refocuses the mind which may have wandered off into the realms of what’s for dinner and enables expansion of the imagination which is a useful tool of exploration.

Meditation enables expansion of consciousness. We could say that we are not alone in the Universe and are surrounded by unseen loving beings who want to help and share their understanding. On the other hand, we could say that meditation helps to move into areas of our own brain which we have not previously accessed. The techniques used here enable both the imagination and the power of the attention to focus on Light and to find out that when you do this you simply feel a whole lot better than you did, and that there is a whole Universe of new ideas to explore.
