DIP CNM, MFNTP. Nutritional Therapist
If you are looking for general or specific advice on your diet*, wish to enhance your energy levels or have a health problem which has not responded well to medical treatment, it may be worth considering Nutritional Therapy.
Nutritional Therapy can be effective in supporting the treatment of many illnesses/conditions, as well as helping those who are well, achieve optimum health. Below are just some of the health problems which normally respond well to Nutritional Therapy:
Chronic fatigue/low energy
Stress/Anxiety
Female hormone imbalances (PMS, PCOS, Menopause etc.)
Allergies/food intolerance
Digestive disorders (IBS, ulcerative colitis, constipation, bloating etc.)
Joint/Muscle Pain
High blood pressure, high cholesterol
*Including Sports Nutrition and Pre-conceptual care
Nutritional Therapy aims to establish exactly what is causing your problem, rather than just treating the presenting symptoms. This normally requires an initial consultation and one or several follow ups, depending on the problem and how long it has been going on.
Prior to a consultation you will be required to complete a nutrition and lifestyle questionnaire and a food diary, so that I can assess what areas to focus on during the consultation.
I was trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. My belief is that the body has a great capacity to heal itself, given the right nutrients, supportive lifestyle and environment.
I would be happy to discuss if Nutritional Therapy is appropriate for you prior to a consultation.
